The last of the evening light on a beautiful November day illuminated this old boat and the surrounding mud and sand. The colour was brought out of the RAW image by using Fred Miranda's Velvia Vision plug in for Photoshop with a warming filter. If you look carefully at the image what looks like a distant shore and skyline is actually further mud and sand of the estuary which is about 4 miles wide at this point. The effect was enhanced by the lens being used at almost it's longest reach.

Very nice picture. I really love thouse colos and sharpness.
Maybe for next time, try to use NEat image. I will cancel out the dots

Another nice shot. I like what you did with the filter. Some of the graininess in the distance could be diminished with NeatImage.

Fine composition, but I'm not happy with the upper part of this picture. It seems to quite blurred. Perhaps the original is better.

Great location. I used to go there picking cockles as a child.
