Photographer's Note

For those of you who know Dunraven Bay well will recognise where I am standing to the east of the car park. Although this beautiful bay changes every tide this was perhaps the most dramatic change I have ever seen there. The storms of the previous few days have almost stripped the beach of it's sand. There is now the largest expanse of limestone pavement I have ever seen on the beach, full of fossils. Where the sand eventually returns it has trapped the water into quite a large lagoon (for which my Field Spaniel Bradley is eternally grateful).

I did not really set out to take any shots today, it was more a trip to the beach with the dogs before a flying visit to the shops, so I could not really wait until the light improved from this.
