Photographer's Note

Autumn on the Afon Taff Fechan. Taken just at the side of the road at a location known locally as The Neuadd. The road to the north takes you over the Brecon Beacons towards the town of Brecon. The original road was probably first used by the Romans and connected the forts at Penydarren (Merthyr Tydfil) and Y Gaer (Brecon).

The road takes you close to the summit of Cribyn, the second tallest mountain in the Beacons. The river evenually reaches the sea at Cardiff.
