This is a shot of a rape field close to my home town of Newry, N.Ireland. This was taken 2 summers ago on a June evening, I have another version in a square format with a closer crop on the tree that I will upload too.

Une photo très attractive.
L'ensemble est très dynamique, avec de très belles couleurs.
Par contre, le halo autour de l'arbre est un peu trop présent.. et dommageable.

A well composed and balanced image of this delighful landscape in fresh golden light hour of the day. The colors are awesome in particular the dominating yellow filed, the tree is perfectly placed at the thirds. Lovely mixed of colors in the foreground and the soft shadow enhances the depth. The golden color blends deliciously against the blue sky. IMHO this image can still benefit with a little more sharpness. Simply gorgeous!

Hello Patrick,
This is a splendid landscape with the undulating shapes, and lines and curves of yellow and green. In places the light gives a golden hue. The tree is an important part of this image as it strengthens the composition and punctuates the blue sky.

Beautiful picture.. I've spent 2 years in the UK, but I've only seen these fields with my eyes, couldn't capture them this well..

The thing that adds on to the beauty of thsi picture is, I guess, the setting sun.. that's giving the yelloish tinge..
