Photographer's Note

This shot was taken on the beautiful beach of Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. This scene sums up the island for me - big skies and large, empty, sandy beaches that go on for miles. Originally my two friends and their other dog were in the shot to the left but I cropped the image as I felt it worked better with just my husband and the one dog, Rusty.

Well taken this beach with great depth effect, good details with the lonely walker and the dog, very interesting effect also with this cloudy sky, good light management.
