Good Morning Brian,
A very strong, focal feature, giving great impact. You have, by your composition, given this boat character; it has a proud demeanour as it stands tall, hair flying in the wind, eager for action and needing to be restrained!
Love the light and shadows on the hull.
Have a great w/e,
Bev :-)

Hello Brian,
Very unique POV chosen to shoot this boat. The fluttering flags present nice dynamism to the image. Nice minimal composition playing with the shape and colour of the boat. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Brian,
The low POV makes this boat look very impressive! The strong colours are very attractive and the composition is also very good. A very attractive angle.
Kind regards

Bon POV en contre-plongée rendant presque la barque agressive :)Jolie idée de cadrage et belle gestion de la lumière.

I like you frontal, low POV, the boat seems to be bigger and taller, very well taken against the cloudless sky, bravo

Hi Brian,
So this is what it looks like to be run over by a boat :) A beautiful view, and a rare one too, which makes this look like something from some epic movie. Vivid and magical colors of the red against the light blue backdrop.
I love your other one in the link too, the reflection is just incredible. I show my ignorance here, but I don't understand a non TE approved one? Is that picture not allowed for some reason? Either way, its created two similar images, but each with their own charm and magic.
Thanks as always

Hi Brian
Excellent POV, you must have been really close to the ground. The red hull contrasts well with the blue sky.
The Non-TE approved version is ever so romantic! :)
Have a nice evening

Hi Brian,
Well, in this picture I first of all just imagined you out for a quiet swim when this boat came suddenly upon you!
It certainly is a most striking image with the vibrant colours of the boat strongly portrayed against the clear blue aky above. Lots of impact, fabulous light and colours, perfect light management and exposure and exquisite details and sharpness throughout.
But I absolutely love your alternative image on the "500px" website! The reflections in the rippled water are simply sublime. But, of course, when I read your note fully and see that you also add the remark "non-TE approved", I am just guessing that you used a special "water" filter in Photoshop to add that sea and its rippled effect. Am I right? Anyway, no matter how you did it, the effect is brilliant!
Lovely!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Brian - talk about a low perspective! This must have gotten you down and dirty on the beach, but it's very effective. The light is stunning, this looks like a dramatic CGI shot in some ways. And of course the non-TE approved version gives a new spin to that interpretation with the skillfully done 'reflection' - a great effect there. Thanks!

I love this pic! Boat and sky with nothing else isn't a standard composition and thats what makes this stand out!
Would be a great image for gift cards, fridge Magnets etc!

Hello Brian
This is a great perspective on this fishing boat. We get an uncluttered and clean view on the boat without any disturbing details around. The colors are amazing too.
have a great sunday
