Portcoon Jetty, a photo from Antrim, Northern Ireland

Photographer's Note

This little cove and jetty is located on the North Antrim Coast of Northern Ireland and is known as Portcoon. It is just to the west of the Giants Causeway World Heritage Site. I am pretty sure that most of the visitors to the Causeway are unaware of this little gem. I spent several hours here on a busy Saturday afternoon and no other visitors came to visit during that time.

Hello, excellent long exposure image. Perfect as a vertical photo so we really get the feel of that walkway jutting into the sea. Perfect lead into the frame. Lovely misty look to the water from the long 30 second exposure.
