Photographer's Note

A radar antenna for marine shipping was installed atop Gibbs Hill Lighthouse in 1987, replacing its weathervane. The weathervane is now displayed as sculpture in Gibbs Hill Lighthouse Park surrounding the lighthouse.

Eski Rüzgâr Gülü

1987'de Gibin Tepesi Deniz Feneri'nin üstünde, deniz taşımacılığı için bir radar anteni onun rüzgâr gülünün yerine yerleştirildi. Rüzgâr gülü de artık deniz fenerini çevreleyen Gibin Tepesi Feneri Parkı'nda heykel olarak sergilenmektedir.

View from the Gibbs-Hill towards the bay and town looks awesome point for taking pictures, Murat, as we can see - the weather was fine and daylight flushed.
White anchor and the Weathervane as a statue well placed over the pic. space.

Hello Murat,
Excellent photo of this weathervane, you placed it so well on the right hand side of the composition next to the wide view of the sea in the background, which is nicely framed by the trees on both sides. The bright light was great here and you handled the exposure of the white parts very well.

The weathervane seemingly pointing towards the restrooms is well placed in the frame and makes an interesting focal point. The clear blue sky supplies a delightful backdrop. Excellent technical realisation.

Hello Murat,
This looks a lot nicer than a radar antenna but was maybe not as precise. It does well as a sculpture, along with the white anchor. This is generally a nice view and the colours were quite satisfactory on this bright day.

The pointer guides the eye into the whole wide scene and full marks for exposure, colours and detail. Contrast to blue sky cant be better than this. Nice capture, Congrats
