Photographer's Note

This starling was foraging for food on the back wall of Cabana Bar & Grill while we were eating lunch on the beach.

According to The Bermuda Audobon Soceity, these European starlings are abundant residents of Bermuda. Initially vagrant from USA, they began breeding in 1950s; increase in cut lawns and golf courses favoured rise in their numbers. They are now a pest species in competition with bluebirds. Starlings were first brought to North America by Shakespeare enthusiasts in the nineteenth century.

Sığırcık

Bu sığırcık, sahilde öğle yemeği yiyorken Cabana Bar & Grill'in (Kabana Bar & Izgara) arka duvarında yiyecek arıyordu.
