This vaulted ceiling is magnificent and is shown here in all its majesty. Good light management with well rendered colours and good sharpness.

The vaults and the blue ceiling look really beautiful and you captured it with good clarity. The large stained-glass windows are well included as well.

Hello Jean Claude,

This is a very well executed photograph of the interior of St. Giles' Cathedral showing particularly well the magnificent vaulted ceiling in deep blue which contrasts so well with the warm colours of the walls and pillars.

You have done very well not to overexpose the window or underexpose the interior and the details and sharpness are excellent.

Not only that - but you have also managed the perspectives very well too - so that the walls are indeed vertical!
