Cruise ship at port is Mein Schiff 1 of TUI Cruises, built by Meyer Turku in Finland. One middle sized cruise ship is just leaving the port and a small one is approaching.

Beautiful view of the bay of Algeciras from the height of the mighty Gibraltar cliff.
Blue stunning color of the water, distinct sharp sight of the several vessels there.

Hello Kari,
You captured a superb view from the top of the rock, as should be expected. There is quite some activity in the port, as should also be expected. It was probably exciting to watch the ships arriving and leaving. The ships and boats of all sizes are nicely scattered all over the beautifully blue bay. The photo has a fine clarity and attractive colours.

PS I doubt that it's possible today to demand that everyone with a smart phone has a permit to take photos. In the 1980's many West African states were ruled by paranoid military regimes that suspected everyone with a camera to be a spy.

A great overview of this patch of deep blue sea. It is nicely dotted with a lot of ships in all different sizes. The city in the bottom right hand corner is also nicely included.

A good composition with the boats and ships of various sizes spread over the water and sailing into different directions.
