Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

This photograph follows the sequence of events from my previous photographs.

When the cereal crop is harvested, the stalks, which become straw, are baled and taken away on huge lorries to be stored in barns.

The straw is important as a by-product and has a number of different uses, including fuel, livestock bedding, fodder, thatching and basket making.

My photograph shows the tractor loading the straw bales onto the lorry and trailer.

The workshops will show other stages in the collection of the straw.

Thank you for your interest, Bev
