Dunvegan Castle, a photo from Highland, Scotland

Sitting on Loch Dunvegan in the NW of the Isle of Skye is Dunvegan Castle. It was first built in the 13th century and altered many times since and in the 19th century it was given a mock medieval look. You can see a glimpse of the loch behind the castle. I haven't uploaded a full frontal photo because someone (probably that shadowy figure in the entrance) had parked a big ugly vehicle to the left of the entrance.
In the WS you'll find a photo looking down the loch at the rear of the castle and one of the cemetery and ruined church.

Maybe mock medieval but still looking quite good. The surroundings offered some nice views too. I see a strange white figure in a window. It's not a ghost, is it?

I like the point of view where you have included a little of the scenery in which the castle is set.

Nice portrayal of this castle. These places never fail to amaze me. Maybe it would look better in BW. Of course BW is a fixation of mine, so you may dispense with considering it, its a good photo anyway.

A nice take of half of the front of this castle. I would say it could use some power washing but I am afraid its stucco might not stand up to it.
