Where the Bard Was Born
The weather was quite bad this morning (although it had been worse earlier), but I’d still like to show this famous house in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, it is the birthplace of William Shakespeare, actor, poet and playwright, who lived from 1564 to 1616.

Hi Lars, definitely a place of pilgrimage for lovers of this playwright who has marked the history of theater and literature, still well preserved in a perfect capture despite the difficult light, a post certainly of great interest! Have a good night and thanks,Luciano

Hi Lars
ahhhh...now the title makes sense to me :)
I should have gotten that right away. Not too many people are born at home these days. I take it this home can be visited on a tour? I'd go in! Very cool subject. good one
cheers

Hi Lars,
The €dges are framing well the house. The point of view is showing the details of the architecture of the house. There is a good contrast between the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hej,
Gert

Hello Lars,
Oh, what a pity about the weather! It has been warm and particularly dry for many weeks, previously!
How lovely that you know about The Bard!
His dwelling place looks very period!
You have captured the house with excellent clarity and very nicely angled to enhance the composition.
What did your students think of it?
Hope the weather improves,
Bev :-)

Hi Lars,
This is one of the famous laces in England which I didn't visit yet. I do make a progress and I visited Warwick Castle last year so who knows maybe I will visit this place someday as well. Sadly it is sometimes cheaper to go to Spaim or Greece than to travel within the UK plus the weather is unpredictable here, which is well illustrated in your photo with the white sky. This is the worst color of the sky for me. I don't blame you though, in fact your photo had the realistic touch. This is how this place looks most of the year. And to be fair even the white sky didn't stop you from turning it into a very impressive presentation,
Very well done,
M

I guess there is a controversy about everything around this artist, including the question if he was really he or another poet. the house was from the same age and style. this is like the places where Jesus was.. a nice sample of architecture anyway and perfect image showing the diagonal.
take care

Hallo Lars,
De saaie lucht hielp niet om deze beroemde woning tot zijn volle recht te laten komen op foto.
Maar de typische architectuur en het charmante voorkomen komen volop tot uiting.
Vele groeten, Paul

Hello Lars,
Nice view of this "historic" building. I was listening on the radio that Shakespeare might not be who we think he was, that it could be the pen name of some nobility.
Regards,
MT

Hello Lars, although always living in England, I have never visited Stratford, somewhere I must visit soon maybe! So it is interesting to see the birthplace of Shakespeare.
Needless to say, it is a very well preserved building.
Taken from a good angle.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Lars.
Splendid set that form these houses of the sixteenth century, where Shakespeare seems to be born, I like this half-timbered.
Sharpness, lighting and color are magnificent
Nice job. I like it.
Have a nice day. Very best regards.
Luis.
