Photographer's Note
Spending a boring Sunday doing pretty much nothing, I decided to look through a massive pile of CD's and DVD's to see what was on them. To my suprise, this image was one of them! Taken back in 2004, this Lunar eclipse could be seen over much of southern England. Taken using a mini tripod and a 70-200 F2.8 on a VERY cold May evening. I hope you enjoy my effot.

Hi Scott,
I keep meaning to have a go at shooting the moon, in a way you've put me off now because I won't be able to achieve this! Really nice colours and perfect exposure.
Cheers,
Adrian

Scott,
Excellent! I'm impressed that you got such a clear image. I sometimes regret the small number of space photos on TE, so it's a pleasure to come across this one.
