Photographer's Note
First of all thankyou to all for making me welcome .This was more or less my first ever pic with my wobbly camera, i would have loved to have taken this with a more advanced camera but i use what i have .This pic was taken after running my mother home in the car from hospital ,i could see the light bursting through the dark storm ,i raced down to the cliff to catch this scene.hope you like it

wobbly camera or not you had the presence of mind to spot a very nice scene indeed and react upon that which to me is the qualities needed by a good photographer, although quite blurry still a very good scene well done,

Hi Andy
Another great shot, I don't think this type of shot is about sharpness its about subject matter, composition and colour, may I suggest a slight crop on the bottom of the picture just infront of the small figure on the beach.
Well done, keep them coming.
Regards Derrick

Hi Andy,
It's not the equipment used that makes a great shot, it's the photographer behind the camera that makes a great shot...you had the presence of mind to notice a good photo opportunity when it presented itself and took it very well indeed. Technically, it's not the best shot in creation, but the composition and presentation is wonderful. Go on....hurry upppp....treat yourself to that new camera and blow all our minds with what you can do!!!! Nice one. Best wishes, Vicky

We really are treated to some lovely sunsets (the pollution I expect). A very well composed shot.

hi ollie,
thanks for sharing. really liek your photo. However, since this is a critique, i think it looks a bit unsharp, maybe that is just because its lower quality. Also i thought to go in for a tighter crop and make it almost panoramic.crop top half a little bit over the light up clouds.
