Photographer's Note

I met that funny young lady at the Thames riverside. she was sitting with her family eating ice creams. I passed, but after some seconds got the conclusion, that such a decisive moments should be photographed. so turned back, asked her father for a permission and took several pictures. here just one of them, off course could not tak a decision, which one should I post here.. small postprocessing: eyes and hair sharpening, little bit blured (gaussian 0.5), added some contrast.

Hi Tomasz.
A very nice portrait. The little girl is so funny with all her mouth full of cream. Colors are very vivids and I like very much how you have frame her. I love this type of photo, so I have some of children in my gallery. Congratulations for this shot.

Hi Tomasz,

Always a difficult moment, the moment just before you turn around to take a picture that you should have actually taken 10 seconds ago! Quite often, you pass the moment and you keep on telling yourself for a minute that you should have done so, but you're not turning around. And sometimes, you do turn around, but the magic, the moment, it is just gone.

In your case, the magic is still there! That has something to do with kids, and especially with kids eating icecream hahaha. They have more important things to do than to worry about a photographer ;-). Sharpness, blur, colours, framing. It is all there and it is all very okay!! Thanks for sharing this beauty!
