You already know this guy from the Camden Lock Market .

I don't really understand what he sells and why do people buy these threads, but I couldn't ignore the similarity between the seller's hair and the things he sells.

The reason you took this guy is because of his hair and the reason I took this picture is because of this hair too!

Yes, I remember that guy, Yitzhak, quite a character. Nice semi-profile catch of him amidst his colorful merchandise. Good positioning of that "dummy head" in the bottom left corner, too, well seen.

Nice double portrait, I wonder which is the dummy. Ooops - that was mean. I think it needs some more sharpness and also a bit of burning on the background so I settle for a pale one.

I think the threads are wool dyed in different colors extracted from flowers and plants. Very popular among people who have a strong knowledge about our textile heritage AND among people who are politically correct on the green line.

Hi Yitzhak, I remember him, I think I just entered TE.
Veyr nice colourful pic, I think they are just used as shawls, looking at the dummy. Maybe it was the fashion in london at that time and you did not notice it? ;-)

To answer Ebbe's question I think neither the doll nor the man is the dummy, probably, could be, just possibly the people who buy the threads ;oD I like your compo and the colours very much, not quite sharp though and maybe slightly overexposed on his face.

Hey Yitzhak, a great capture here. The colours add punch and there's an interesting story to go with it. And yes there is a bit of a hairy similarity there, isn't there! :)

Le jeu des lignes et des couleurs donnent toute sa beauté à cette composition, de même que le petit clin d'oeil avec ces deux têtes..
Le cliché pris au zoom mérite néanmoins un peu plus de netteté.
