Very nice ,Robert!
Beautiful colors and a good repition of the stone in your image. Even the clouds in the air have a function in this image.

Hi Robert
Desolate but obviously beautiful place, at least your capture of this landscape is. The use of two stones in your shot is very efficient, it gives the picture a nice depth. Other than that the colors are amazing, especially the blue sky.

Hello Robert,
a good feeling of space in your shot of the moors.I like your POV with the stones placed so.The shot is sharp, and the colours are natural.
The blue sky is a perfect backdrop.
Tfs,regards Jean.

Hi Robert
I like the composition and colours of this shot. You have also captured the sky beautifully. I love walking the moors and the climb out of Grosmont is a shocker.

Take care

Hi Robert,
nice colours and beautiful winter landscape with this shy cloud. I like the composition, it has its rythme and works good with this to vertical elements.
Well done,
Mateja

Bonjour,

Not as dramatic as the previous shot, but perhaps a more peaceful and rustic one. I like the placement of the two stones in this, one near and one far, giving this a good sense of depth. The large amount of sky in this gives the shot a more spacious feeling too. Nice work!

Hello Robert
This shot shares the good colours and sharpness of your last post but the vertical format and use of the 'twin' slanting stone emphasises the depth rather than the expanse of the view to give a different feel. Well worth taking this second POV.
Best wishes...Maggie

This pic works for me too. The colours are fabulous, as is the sharpness. But it's the way that the foreground stone seems to echo the one in the distance that provides such an atractive composition. Nicely done.
Best wishes

Great light in this one too Robi, and if anything I prefer this shot to the last one.
There's an interesting visual connection/ relationship between the two stones, but most of all I like the way the line of the cloudbank seems to be leading up from the foreground stone.
Good shot - simple and effective.
Cheers,
Ben

nowhere land? and also dreamland?
ses pierres dressées mais penchées dans le même sens que les nuages donnent à cette vue une dimmension extraordinnaire.
le cadrage vertical est parfait.
