Photographer's Note
Three photos from the island of Qeshm, where the traditional Middle East boats, called dhow, are still made like in the old times.
On the first picture - the boat is being built in a shipyard. In the middle - boat near the coast of the village> I am not sure if the boat in the lower picture is not ready yet or is dying. Anyway, one can observe some wrecks.
Dhow is the generic name of a number of traditional sailing vessels with one or more masts with settee or sometimes lateen sails, used in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean region.

Hello Malgo,
Three very interesting photos. The middle one is the most beautiful, a nice boat in its right element and a glimpse of an interesting town in the background. The upper one is the most interesting, since we see the work in progress. It makes me think of Noah building the ark. The lower photo makes me think of the Aral Sea. Quite clearly a wreck now with cows as its companions instead of sailors.
Best wishes,
Gert

Great photo's Malgo/
I like the third one the most, all those stranded vessels with cows in between.
Thanks and regards,

Hi Malgo
A superb trio of images depicting boats. Good sharpness and it's very unusual to sees cows on the beach, let alone taking shelter in the shade of a beached boat. Probably abandoned. Craig will love it!

Hi Malgo
A great trio of dhow photos. By the look of its companions I'd think that the bottom one is finished its life.

Hi Malgo,
This is just wonderful. In modern terms these are fairly small. But looking at the one under construction, it is easy to understand how enormous amount of work these require. Superb idea to show the whole life cycle of these vessels.

Hi Malgorzata
Good idea getting shots of this traditional vessel, it takes a good eye to see the images and putting them together in such a pretty montage. Every shot is excellent in its own right and the shot lets us focus on each with excellent detail and colours. Good stuff
PS: Age is catching up very fast nowadays hence did not climb the tower .. he. he...
Best regards

Hello, the excellent collage presents three stages of the dhow boat life. First it is built in wood in a shipyard, the second boat is in good condition and finally we can see wrecks on the beach on the third photo. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.
