Photographer's Note
Southern part of the old buiding of the former central Police office (Kaakh-e Shahrbaany or the Palace of the Police), Tehran.
The building belongs to the era of Reza Shah Pahlavi with its own unique architectural style. The building was made by the famous Armenian architecture, Vartaan Hovanesian nad elements of Persian architecture from the Achaemenians to Safavid era are used here. The most interesting part of the building are the Archemenian pillars withe the bull heads that are seen in most buildings of this era.
The building now belongs to the ministry of foreign affairs and is located in a no photo area!!
