Old woman from Karyak, a photo from Boyerahmad va Kohgiluyeh, East

Photographer's Note

I saw her when she took a walk far from me. she was tired, slow, and smiling.when i got her, she sat and i say ``sallam``.we were talking for a quarter although i could not understand her Farsi accent.
people of Karyak are from ``Lor`` people and they speak Farsi with ``lory`` accent.``Lor people`` were scattered in hillsides of ``Zagrous`` mountains at the central plateau of Iran.
Karyak is placed at hillside of one of the highest peak of south of Iran ``Dena`` and this peak make a beautiful and magnificent landscape for this village.
they have been there for a long time, even before Achaemenian period, and at that time, the king way passed so much near to this village.

sallam rahim. i like the way you tell how you met this old woman. "sallam" is the beginning of everything, isn't it? she has very interesting facial features, especially her eyes have a central asian look. i like the focus, composition and your use of bokeh.

nice the portrait of the old woman from Karyak,with the light and colour management to brings out the details from her seamed face.I like the good presentation as the clarity of the scene.
