Photographer's Note
Lots of them were fisherman.sea is their life. for years they had bring their families food from sea, they brought their stories from sea , their dreams, their wishes, their fears, their worries, their waits, and their dances.
they were dancing together like a hard wave and sing a song.their poems were as a pray. they pray for new couple and wish for them healthy and faithful life as prophets.
poems were in Arabic language combination with a little Farsi and some words those they didn`t know the meaning of that words.some of them belief that words came from old magic African songs.

Salam Rahim. The formation and swaying of the heads and bodies remind me of the Sufi trance. Technically the shot is powerful for its POV and low light which bounces off their white robes and turbans and highlights their profiles and mouths in song. Culturally it is also a meaningful scene a sit combines many heritages and races.Well done Rahim. I wish you a happy new year even if it's not the Persian new year. Klaudio.

Salam Rahim ~
A striking and poetic image along with a very interesting note. The pov offers us that lovely curved diagonal, like a wave of music itself. And the lighting is both magical and mysterious, like the dance, i imagine. Beautifully done, thank you so much for sharing this with us.
With kind regards,
Kristin

sallam rahim bro. i need not say that this one is so far your best, it is epic and powerful. the composition, the use of light, the authentic garments, the "so much inside the action" feeling... this photo is a timeless gem and TE is so lucky to host it in its pages. bravo!

Hi Rahim
Fantastic piece of work! And a good story to go with it. To be able to get such a low light photograph especially when they are moving and with such good composition, I think you've done a great job here.
Wishing you good luck and a very happy new year too.
Cheers, Blue
