1954 Hudson Hornet, a photo from Sharon, Central

Photographer's Note

Well, this one is unique:

One giant iconic car in the old vehicles exhibition was the black 1954 Hudson Hornet.

Held by "The Five Club", an Israeli old cars association, originating when there were license plates with only 5 number depicted (on my pictures I cloned out the license numbers – as most owners asked).

Participating vehicles were in good riding condition, drove to and from the place, a parking lot near Ha'Ogen junction north-east of Netanya, 32.359, 34.908 on the map.

Hello Ike,
This car would catch a lot of attention in the streets. It hasn't aged quite as well as some others from the same time. It looks rather heavy and clumsy. The wheels, or rather tyres, are probably very typical of those times. It's a well taken photo and it's interesting to realize how times change.

Hi Ike,
Very unique car, I don't think I have seen this make ever. I like the matt black paint. Usually black is glossy so the matt looks original. The yellow plates are so eye catching, hard to miss and this time they didn't ask you to cover them. We can see around some other stylish cars.

The white rim around the tires is eye-catching. The point of view is showing the dteails of the 1954 Hudson Hornet. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,

I really like this car, maybe because it reminds me of one of the first cars that we ever had. It was a Hilman, not so large but similar in shape.
It is a fine sharp exposure, clearly revealing its white wheels, shiny chrome features an polished bodywork.

Impressive big American classic car. And no doubt quite rare too. You have a good angle. I like that pinstripe feature in the front. Red wheels with white side tyres look great too.

A very robust and heavy American car.
One from a gangster movie I would think.
But gangsters wouldn't want a flashy red decal, a red 'H' and red wheels, but rather be unobtrusive.
Clear presentation from a good angle.
