A surprising sight that never could be pre-planned.

Going early morning to Tel-Aviv, saw there was a "firey" sky.

A cell-phone picture taken from the 6th floor balcony view due east.

Cropped sides, no other changes on PP.

You are my neighbour, today!
What a splendid photograph!
I love strong sunset/sunrise scenes, probably because they don't happen too often where I live because we are surrounded by hills!
The sky looks fiery, like the molten lava emerging from a volcano and overcoming the sky!

You seem to have had a good, elevated position, to get the best view of the city, framed against the sky.

This is really an amazing sunrise. The impact of the bright colours seems to be enhanced by the contrast with the skyscrapers dominating the mid level of the photo. The contrast between the high-rise buildings and the more traditional foreground view describes the rapid change of Tel Aviv. The quality of your cell-phone camera is impressive.

The trees are giving a touch of nature to the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the highrise buildings. The sunrise is giving nice colors to the picture. Have a nice day.

Hello Ike,
Many fiery red lines create a superb background.
Despite the red splash in the sky, the skyscrapers and houses do not look like silhouettes, but they are clearly visible and with details.
I like the rows of houses on the foreground that lead our eyes to the highrise and the splendid sky.
The last tower building at the back right reflects the colours of the sky and other buildings wonderfully.
Maybe an idea to have a look there someday. But as you wrote, you cannot plan such a scene in advance.
PS: Is your lockdown over? And has it produced good results?

You really can be happy to catch this one, if you don't often visit this balcony. Orange clouds look really impressive, and high rise buildings are just on the right direction to make the best combination with the sky.

A spectacular view with the orange sunrise colours in the sky behind the many high-rise buildings of the city skyline. The foreground with the lower houses among the trees is very good, too.

Hi Ike,
you are right that usually if you hope to get conditions like that, they are not coming. Unless you keep trying and revisit the same favourite spot many times or you are simply lucky.
It pays off to be well prepared for occasions like that.
Amazing sky indeed and it dominates the view so much as if the rest of the scene was almost monochrome.
Great point of view offered fantastic panorama.

Hello Ike, What a stunning view! The sky is like in a fire. And the skyscrapers are very sharp. The lower buildings in fg are still in the darkness but well visible. Awesome composition.
