Photographer's Note

This old rail connected between the city of Beer Sheva and Rafi-ah. It was built by the British forces during world war I. Rafi-ah is a small city near the Mediterranean coast, and Beer Sheva is in the center of the Negev desert (and also my home town).
This rail is abandoned more than 56 years, since the independence of Israel, when Rafi-ah remained in the Gaza strip, first occupied by Egypt and later by Israel.
