Photographer's Note
Another shot from the Negev desert. This is the wire bridge which you proobably remember.
I got this photo ready for posting almost 2 month now, but something didn't let me to post it and I couldn't say why.
But yesterday night I understood- the background is too flat. And then I knew what I have to do: I desaturated the BG and aded noise. I think that it's much better now.

What delight Yitzhak! It seems this is becoming a very "noisy" place of late, with so many participants applying noise and grain to images. This is a very distinctive treatment. All you did with the image is a success in my eyes. I note that you've been quite creative in your frames as well. It is always a pleasure to view creative/playful images such as this. I might have opted for a lighter application of noise, but such matters are surely a matter of personal preference. Well done.

The grain of this photograph is of a great quality and gives life to the matter. The photograph gains in thickness, lles colors become deep. Noise on the service of art. great art work.

Very creative. The grain and the desaturated background make the blue colour of his shirt come out in a striking way.

Composition créative issue d'une très bonne idée de votre part, ce qui prouve qu'avec une banale photo il est possible de faire travailler son esprit créatif.
Composition creative resulting from a very good idea of your share, which proves that with a banal photograph it is possible to make work its creative spirit.

Really outstanding post-work here, Yitzhak, and as you can guess I appreciate that the remaining colors are pretty much just hues of blue. Interesting compo with the guy between the steel ropes. Very good this one.

I don't know about this one Yitzhak. The mixing of desaturation and noise, AND saturation and sharpness, doesn't quite work for me here.
This might be better in TL where this sort of heavy PP is more common?

Great picture Yitzhak. Maybe a bit to much noise for my taste though but the desaturation works really good. And i like the overall blue tone in the photo.

Another excellent desaturation must! I like the noise, it comes out very well here. Excellent POV, excellent title too. i don't know the original, but this one is just perfect that way.
