Photographer's Note

This is my first Re-Post. It's a 20 years old photo, taken at the Red Sea. Near the Suez Canal, when I was a young soldier in the navy.
It is also one of my first posts to TE, at the times that I didn't know much about post processing. The scanned photo sufferers from scratches and pale colors, but I really Like this shot.
Based on some ideas of Mark's (Skorj) WS, I cropped the image tighter and cleaned the scratches, one by one. A LOT of work. I removed the noise, and added a frame. I decided to keep the lens distorted horizon.

There's a story behind this photo: After sailing through the Suez Canal, we had some serious problem with our heavy gun, so my friends had to clean it while they're standing on the bridge's roof. It looks risky, but the sea was flat and calm, so it ended with no injuries.

So, I hope that you like it.

BTW, it was captured in the open sea, so maybe I should not put it under Israel, I might change it to Egypt.
