Photographer's Note

Paragliding is becoming quite a popular pastime here in Israel and it is gathering quite a following. This image was taken on the cliff just north of Netanya, a pretty beach resort in the center of the coastal plain of Israel. Short tandom flights along the cliff are on offer and people like to order as a special present for special occasions.We can see here the bride to be of a couple that were to be married the following weekend.

Lovely. I love the feeling of just hanging there in space. But, I wish there was a sense of height. A view down might have helped, i.e. with space below the couple showing the distance to the water far below.

Ah, a very nice way to celebrate the coming marriage. And a loveley shot, full of joy and life. I like the smudged horizon line. A poitty about the feet, which are almost out of frame, but considering the situation, a very nice job.

Belle photo de ce gens qui font du parachute, je ne sais pas quelle sorte, mais ils ont l' air d' apprécier et leurs visages sont détendus, vous avez su capter leur émotion sur votre photo très jolie et bien nette.

Splendid image with this two people as real paragliders.
Absolutely a very nice gift for this couple, this have to are very lovely along the rocks fly, exactly a bird between heaven and earth, this with bare feet.

Excellent capture of these casually clad daredeviles as they cheat death. Very clear colors and excellent details with a wonderful muted blue background. Looks like great fun!

Hi David,

I see you are using D70s too. :) It is clearly seen from your captures. I like this one very much. I'm trying to image how this feels like. Must have been overwhleming. Great composition of superb quality.
