Photographer's Note
Another shot from the Negev desert. Usually, it's a terrain of mountains, cliffs and rocks, like I showed yesterday. But you can also find some dunes of white sand.
In some places, the sand slides down from the dune and covers the roads.
Tech: Nothing but crop, and some minor level adjustments.

hi Yitzhak:) dunes made a very interesting and beautiful composition..and your square framing and adjustments made it a beautiful picture again..especially the colors and fine grains (came out of contrast I guess)...thanks :)

Hey Yitzhak, nature is beautifully taking over. Fantastic crop and composition, I like especially that there is no horizon. Nice square crop

Very good "desert-ish" look in this one, Yitzhak. Well cropped and a nice textural study of the asphalt, and the "mini dunes" of sand partially taking over the road. Nice work.

This broken-down perspective is indeed fascinating: whild sand or man's folly by expecteing to tame nature in every possible situation?
Wild is the wind, as the song goes... ;-)
I feel you photo'd have got more impact without the frame you added, but this is merely a matter of taste.
Another fine addition to the Exploring shapes and colours theme, don't you think?

Another photo where you've managed to make the simple look effective Yitzhak. That's what I like about your photos, they always make me think twice, and it's clear you have thought carefully before taking it. Clever photography!

It's like sand, and the road is like water, what a fine combination again !

Yitzhak
I had not seen this photograph!! in format label, I see the shade of a man who walks his face is turned towards the left and we can see his arm on the right. It is for that, I like much your photograph.
congratulations

Great shapes and forms in this one. It is a little bit grainy, or fuzzy, a nice effect, make it look like a painting.
Nice patterns from the wheel tracks.
Well seen and captured.

Hi Yitzhak, it's been a while since I see your photos. I see you cross the 10k mark. wow.. The dotted line on this pix is really eye-catching. It leads my eye from the bottom to the other end of the page. Good effort.

A fine graphical compostion you captured here Yitzhak - I like the different lines -some strait some curved and the soft colours - a fine job indeed.

Very beautiful framing, this effect of sand on the road is really powerful, it had to be done, well considering

Interesting image. The only time I see so much sand on the road is when a sand truck looses it's cargo! :-)
Isn't it dangerous to drive in these conditions? Are the roads cleaned or people wait that the sand goes away?

nice composition but a pity to have such big grain and poor colors.

Nice composition - from the thumbnail, I thought it was showing some kind of weird shadows.

Although most of the picture is ‘just road’ there is something I like about this picture. I guess it’s the nice curving sand… standing where it should not be.
Just wonder what is all the noise in the picture? since you said that only minor level adjustments were done.
