Photographer's Note

A pleasant dining area alongside a horseshoe shaped harbour in Trabzon, on the Black Sea. I like the reversed 'c' shape of the red umbrellas, & çay (pronounced as 'chi') is the Turkish word for cha / tea.

Hello Chris,
A nice and really bright photo of the red parasols lining the reversed C. The green tones of the gills make a fine contrast. But the Turkish word for tea is actually "çay".

Chris, that restaurant is ideally located on Trabzon waterfront. The red and white beach umbrellas protect the tables and the customers against the hard summer sun in Turkey. Remarkable pov, the water is not really attractive here. Perfect sharpness

It is a dynamic composition here, thanks to the curve of the coastline, which got emphasised so beautifully here as well by the bright red parasols. The cliffs make a good focal point in the background as well.

Hello Chris, I do not like the beaches with umbrellas, I prefer wild places, but these red umbrellas are a good object for photographers. Eye-catching composition. Appealing picture. well observed.

Well spotted!
There is nothing particularly special but you have noted how a striking pattern has been created by this curved line of red parasols. Most people would just see the parasols and nothing beyond.
This is a very well composed photograph, nicely balanced and obeying the rule of thirds.
