On the small ship that took us to Akhtamar Island, we were accompanied by a large number of Iranian tourists, a British woman, two women and a young Turkish couple. The Iranian group came with a tour. But we arrived in Turkey independently. I will share the photo of the young couple in my next posts.

Hi Ali

Some of these exterior carvings depict Biblical scenes such as Daniel and the lions den. There are many others as well. A good upward pov with excellent sharpness. The cherry blossom enhances the shot. Tfs!

Hello Ali,
The church looks much nicer than I remember it, so the restoration must have been both extensive and carefully done. I also don't remember being inside, so the WS is interesting. It is also a good composition with a fine view through the doorway. I like the upward angle of the main photo and the fine colours.

Hello Ali,
A beautiful and very clear photo of this old cathedral. Those stone carvings on the walls look amazing and you captured them with such excellent sharpness. I like the vertical composition as well, which included the blossoming trees in the backdrop.

You have perfectly explored this interesting temple. Some photos are more using ity as a silhouette other like this one are showing the well lit side of it which allows us to better appreciate the details of the architecture.

The closer view shows well how beautiful this old church is.
The decorations on the walls remind me of churches I've seen in Armenia, another neighbour country of yours.
Splendid colour contrast of the church and the blue sky.
