Photographer's Note

One of the many impressive "corners" inside the Haghia Sophia. The beautiful "balcony" that you see on the lower right part of the photo, is called the "Sultan's Balcony", because it's the place where the Sultan came to pray, during the years of the Ottoman Empire, when the Haghia Sophia Byzantine Cathedral was converted into a Mosque.
