Photographer's Note

An ordinary day on the Bosphorus Strait. I was surprised with the number of international vessels going both ways every minute. It is really busy!

The Bosphorus is a strait on the border between Europe and Asia. It is the world's narrowest strait used for international navigation. It connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. The strait's length is about 30 km, with a maximum width of 3,700 m

The shores of the strait are heavily populated as they remain within the city limits of the city of Istanbul (with a metropolitan area in excess of 11 million inhabitants).
