This artwork stands 12 meters high from the ground level to the fourth floor, and the lines you see on the right side are illuminated bottoms of 3 storeys (of course with perspective + some tilt)...

Hi folks,
After Mesut Ilgim's and Bostankorkulugu's fantastic shares, if you are still interested in the same spiral, here comes another one, a supplementary and complementary addition from my POV.

Here, only RAW editing has been done by setting the contrast to linear contrast and increasing the brightness. The "perfect dark" is thus performed...

Taken last Saturday in "SantralIstanbul"...

This is an artwork by Kemal Önsoy, "come cry from my eyes", on display in santralistanbul’s opening exhibition called "modern and beyond" covering the history of modern art in Turkey during the period between 1950 and 2000...

kedi merdiveni versiyonu da süper olmuş valla... bende daha birkaç versiyonu daha var... ama "10 ay beklerim herhalde..."

spiral furyası var galiba :)
önce mesut hoca, sonra korkut abi sonrada sen abi...
ama hepside birbirinden güzel ve başarılı kareler...
çekenler işi bilince insan bakmaktan sıkılmıyor :))

Dilim tutuldu , söylecek söz, yazacak laf bulamıyorum. Aynı konudan neler neler çıkıyor.
Şimdi buradan, İstanbulda yaşayan (veya İstanbula gelebilecek) bütün TE'cilere bir çağrı. Ben sıramı savdım, gelin aynı konuyu (yeri artık belli, Silahtarağada Santral İstanbul) herkez kendince yorumlasın ve buraya yollasın. Koca bir sergi doldurulabilir bu tek konuyla.

Better late than never finally you join the efforts of Mesut and Korkut !
As for them and even in a third different framing I like the dynamism that radiates from this structure, also the facts its orientation matches the photo reading.

a different framing of that we have seen before from your friends, i like the sensation of never finish to turn, giving vertigo, A good choice for this setting, Extraordinary amount of sharp detail in this one.

Aaaaa atlamisim bunu. Ne enteresan bir fotograf. Bakis acisi degisik, degisik oldugu kadar da guzel. Salyangoz gibi kivrilan merdivenlerden ziyade yukari dogru giden nefis bir ritm var. Siyah beyaz, keskinlik de harika. Eline saglik.

Hello Deniz,
This photo was featured when I opened TrekEarth this morning. I looked at Mesut Ilgim's and Bostankorkulugu's photos of the same subject. Their pictures are fabulous, but the way you presented the same sculpture is extremely effective. The drama of black and white turns the shot into a beautiful piece of art. I added it to my favorites.
