Temple of Apollo, Side
----------------------
The Temple of Apollo is situated a five minute walk to the left of the Harbour , jutting out slightly onto a promintory.Origionally there were two temples , The Temple that remains standing , majestically meeting the Ocean is the Temple of Apollo . Built in the second half of the 2nd century A.D. and consisting entirely of marble .
This is probably the most photgraphed spot in Side , and the most Romantic, Absolutely stunning against the reflection of the moon on the sea , or as the sun drops down beyond the depths of the Ocean.

Only a small part remains of this temple, but this group of 5 columns looks very nice with this blue background.
All the best,
Emmanuel

Hello David -
A very nice travel image showing us some of the antiquities of the eastern Mediterranean. By having the people in the composition gives a sense of scale and that this is a site frequently visited. You captured the image on a picture perfect day with blue skies and blue water. My only cosmetic comment would be to clone out the street lamp on the right side. Well done.
thank you for sharing.

Hi David,
This is an excellent photograph with superb sharpness and a great POV. It is so clear that feel that I can walk right into this ancient site. The inclusion of the three tourists was a good idea also. You did an outstanding job of photography here and it gives me the second best thing to actually being at this fantastic place! Great job!

Hi David,
The ancient marble is clearly seen with this vivid blue sky background that contrast so beautifully with the intricate designed white stone. The palms make an elegant break between the white and blue. The three tourist add nice definition to this fine image.

The framing is excellent and well studied. The 5 columns are carefully placed on the left and the column on the right frames well. The stones in the foreground provide a very good diagonal and perspective. Nicely done.
Best wishes
Mark

I like this photo. Your photo includes a few people. Thus we can realise historical works' height. ın my opinion, while you take the architecture photo, you should use people.
