Photographer's Note

Often referred to as the 'Grand Canyon' of the U.A.E., Wadi Bih is one of the more spectacular sights in the northern regions rising to a height of 1,000m. Within these mountain walls are a number of routes that are perfect for hiking and rock climbing.

The route you see in this shot has been come to be known as the Jungle Book hike, which took us roughly about 5-6 hours to complete... which had us do quite a bit of treking, three steep rock face walls to scale and a final scorching hike up to the the summit just as the afternoon sun peaked! Cuts and bruises aside, one of the most exhilarating trip to date.
