Photographer's Note
“View from Ferryland” is the name of this photo and was taken yesterday on a walk from the Ferryland Light House. It is about a 3km walk from the community to the lighthouse which is on a rugged strip of land extending into the cold Atlantic Ocean.
It was a sunny/cloudy warm day that was perfect for walking and taking photos.
If you follow the shoreline it leads to Bay Bulls and eventually St. John’s.
As I was walking, I noticed the wonderful colors, and despite having a telephoto lens I took several shots. This is one of the most colorful.
