Photographer's Note

Quietly waiting for the Spring to arrive and the new growth in the fields and trees to begin. This farm looks deserted while winter's last remaining drifts of snow slowly disappear leaving the stubble yellowed and lifeless. It will be a hive of activity soon as the weather is warming day by day, and Spring will soon be touching her green hand to the land.

Hi Joan, I love the red here drawing the attention and making a striking contrast with the the more subdued tones of the field and the cloudy sky. The elementarry/traditional forms of the barns make it also nicely graphically pleasing. Compo is spot on - very pleasing work!
