Photographer's Note
This is a Canadian house. Very commmon to see its architecture traveling in the province of Quebéc. Isn´t nice? The rock´s walls and the green metal roof are great, but what do you think about the coloured trees around it?
I was traveling between Montreal and Québec and we took the route "Chemin du Roy", by the St.Laurence River, when I stop our rented motorhome just to take this picture. If you are planning to travel between this two nice cities, don´t miss the "Chemin du Rois" route. It´s a short way, but you´ll pass thru some nice little villages, with interesting architecture and nice views. It was raining when I took this picture! Can you imagine this view with sun? Well, of course I add some saturation, just recovering the light. But, there´s not too many difference to the original shot, just because the Canadian colours are really VERY NICE! If you know the owner of the house, please send my kind regards and thanks!
Cheers Canada!

the house is so beautiful set amongst these beautiful fiery trees. I specially like the bits on the right of the frame somehow welcoming us into the image.
the windows are so great. the only thing that bugs a bit are the pwer lines but they are no too terribly bad.
so agora reparei que podia ter escrito em Portugues, fica para a proxima...

It's a really nice scene, full of colors, clear and sharp. Nice view! Just as an improvement, I would try to crop or clone the wires on the top, as they are distracting. Maybe you could have find a better POV to avoid them at first time, but now it's still possible to edit the picture. It's a good shot anyway.

It is nice. And raining or sunny, I haven't decided which I like better for shooting fall colors. Either way they look brilliant if captured well. And here they are very brilliant. In fact I like the green of the wet grass and how it mixes in with the colors of the house and the trees and dried leaves. The house seems to fit ones imagination perfectly in this scene. It's a nice point of view and it seems to work around the wires and poles perfectly. Nicely done Jose.

Hello José
I see that you enjoyed your trip in my country and that makes me happy.
Do you know why the roof is metallic and the slope very pronounced? If not, here is the answer, because of the snow,so it can slide down instead of accumulating on the roof and break it.
Your photo is a good representation of the colors festival.
Yours
Charles

Hi José Augusto!!
This is a stunning place! I have never seen such a beautiful place because the color of the roof along with the color of the leaves of the trees as background match and make this picture happy and fantastic!
Congratulations! Canada is so beautiful!!!

Beautiful colors all the way around, no question about it...just wonderful! It's too bad the siding on the roof isn't of a different material to go with the surroundings a little better...but the color is pretty neat. Nicely photographed.

Lovely place to live. Saturation is a bit high but the picture came out wonderful. Same here, I too did not like the dangling power lines. Its bit distracting. Sharp and vivid picture

Hi Zeca,
This looks like a beautiful spot and ever so peaceful. I have heard that the autumn colours in Canada are spectacular and your photo proves that. I love it. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Jose,
Supershot, the autumn colours are indeed really nice here. I like the contrast between the green roof and very vivid yellow and red tones of the trees. Good POV, I don't know if it was possible, but maybe a lower POV from a bit closer, with a wider angle (if possible too) would result in not having that electricity post in the frame. Another option would be cropping it out, but I think the crop would be too tight then. The wires disturb. Sharpness and exposure are very good, except for that little piece of burned in sky...or...was the sky just white that day, as you said it was raining.
Nevertheless this is a real nice autumn shot.
Peaceful, thanks for sharing it!

The colors of this photo are stunning. I wish I could live in a little stone house like this. I did a workshop, everyone was commenting on the power lines.

Uau! Q lindas cores, o Canadá deve ser um "show"! Uma foto mto bonita com uma forte carga cromática. (Obrigado pelas suas palavras Zeca, sim, eu acho q este site é mto injusto, e não sou só eu a achar isso)Abraço.
