Photographer's Note

Situated in Old Montreal, near the Old Port, this place was arranged by the authorities with first half of the XIXe century. But actually, the use of its site is much older. It's one of the most animated places of Montreal and where, since centuries, the generations are followed and gather.

Beautiful Christmas scene, good lighting and colors. The snow with the bench in the foreground and the lights of the Christmas trees give your picture a nice touch. Love the green roof of the building. Sorry no note.

Hello Vlad,

Very nice scene. All lights (snow, sky, lights coming out from the buildings and the xmas lights)are very soft and it give a really nice mood to your picture.

Bonjour Vlad,
une magnifique photo bien sur le plan technique qui nous plonge en plein coeur de l'hiver dans les villes canadiennes.
Les hivers parmis les plus rudes que l'on peut constater dans les métropoles.
Les lumières festives des fêtes de fin d'année, atténuent cette austérité hivernale pour même la rermplacer par une ambiance de promenade agréable qui ferait oublier le froid.
Excellent travail d'exposition et de cadrage.

Bravo pour la photo. Les effets de lumières rendent très bien l'atmosphère de l'hiver. Elle présente très bien un jolie coin du Vieux-Port de Montréal. Comme d'autres l'ont déjà dit, elle fait vraiment office de carte postale!
