Life on Hochelaga-Maisonneuve was not always easy... The neighbourhood was one of the poorest in the city during the last 3 decades. Bathed by the afternoon light the colorful shop signs and 'personages' who inhabit the neighbourhood gain shape and glamour and the caracter of a mainly french-canadian neigbourhood can be fully appreciated. Do not expect though to find a cafe open on a sunday after 6pm on this neighbourhood, no Starbucks or Mac Donalds. Here the autenticity and the small business still prevails... On a spring sunday afternoon people go to have an ice-cream on Diary Queen, to walk on the Park Maisoneuve or to skate on the streets. The barbecues on the balconies or on the sidewalk will start soon as well as the bathing on the parks and public pools around the neighbourhood, but that is another story...

Olá Flávia!
Interessante ver essa imagem aqui no TE, hoje saiu uma reportagem no Estado de Minas falando sobre esse esporte urbano! Achei a foto um pouco escura (ou é meu monitor que ja ta no fim da vida mesmo) mas ficou boa! Nessa os fios ajudam até que ajudam na composição dessa foto bem urbana, mas prefiro a foto do Workshop!

Salut,
Perso, je préfère la version originale. Dans le workshop, il manque un petit quelque chose. De toute façon, je ne suis pas le plus grand fan des photos carrés. C'est bien de montrer un quartier négligé, mais très représentatif de Montréal. Le Plateau, Outremont et le quartier latin, c'est beau, mais à mon avis ce n'est pas le vrai et historique caractère canadien-français de Montréal.

Intéressante cette différence entre les deux images.
Pour celle ci on appele çà La nuit Américaine, enfin presque, comme me pratique les cineastes en sous exposant, mais en ajoutant un filtre bleu sur l'objectif pour donner effet clair de lune.
je suppose ici que le macadam baigné par la lumière a influencé le capteur, mais vous avez pu vous rattrapper sur le WS.
