Photographer's Note

This is a photo of the paper transformation factory called Stadacona. It's the fith largest plant of this kind in America and has over 1500 employees. It used to be called Daishowa North America and changed name when the compagny was bought by the giant Enron. It was the biggest canadian investement by that famous compagny.

When the temperature gets below minus 20 celcius, there is always a giant cloud of smoke coming from this factory that can be seen from very far. I decided to transform this shot to B&W in post-processing because I think that it gives off a colder feel this way. I have posted the color version in a workshop. Tell me wich you think is better.
