Photographer's Note

In a treetop next to a busy street I was able to capture an adult bald eagle together with a rather young representative of the bald eagle family. While maturing from the early stages into a fully matured eagle the head feathers transform from the brownish colour on the left into the famous white bald head. Eagles are widespread along the Fraser River which provides them with fish for food while either staying here throughout the year or while just stopping-by on their migration in the spring or fall.
The focal point is on the left to have the majestic mature eagle on the right as a backdrop to enhance the shot.
