A view of Mount Baker (located in the USA) seen from our area at sunset.

About this photo: Last night I noticed a pinkish glow in the sky, so I went outside to have a look and I saw Mount Baker basking in the last sunlight of the day. The building in the distance caught a bit of the last sunlight as well and the sky was painted in beautiful colours. I just had to get my camera and take a photo of it.

I used my circular polarizer, I added some contrast and saturation to this photo to bring out the colours a little more.

Some information on New Westminster: New Westminster is a city that belongs to the Greater Vancouver area. New Westminster is located about 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver along the Fraser River. It is also the oldest city in western Canada and it was the capital of British Columbia between 1858 and 1866.

Located right in the middle of the Greater Vancouver network today, New Westminster is a charming mix of old and new, with a picturesque waterfront and fabulous Victorian architecture. It's a vibrant and progressive city with a community rich in tradition and respect for its heritage.
