Photographer's Note

On the wild west coast of Vancouver Island, I believe this place is called Long Beach. The vastness of space there is quite incredible. I want to go back and feel it once again.

Uh, again very moody photo. I especially liked the colours here and graduate shades of grey. Focus on waves on one, and fisherman on the other side - and that beautiful mist over them... simple composition.
The only thing worth considering here may be cropping just a bit from a lower side, but that depends on one's taste.

Beautiful composition with these three levels of shore line and the fisherman placed on the right third but still centered, which I like. the silhouette aspect of the shore is peaceful whereas the waves seem so powerful, it creates a great contrast.

I can taste the salt on my lips from this shot. Wonderful haze, very real to this place.

Great light and colours. Well frozen action, and I like the light layers with depth. Nice pic.

I love the layers of waves echoing the layers of rocky outcrops. Terrific composition and mood. The lone fisherman gives the image scale and emphasizes the loneliness of the place. My only concern is a cyan cast.

This reminds me of a photo that I have taken with the same kind of view and lighting conditions.Your image works better though with the inclusion of more foreground making for a nicer composition giving more depth.
