Photographer's Note

This was my first time i ever went INSIDE the Vancouver convention center, i'm always outside taking photos so it was fun to venture inbetween the walls!

I was surprised by the photo opportunities presented to me. I knew that there was this large globe for a long time, and when this man kept standing directly beneath it, it was too hard to pass up.

His main job is to simply stand there and greet people as they walk in. There are alot of conventions and booked events here, so i guess he's needed to guide people where to go, but he also provided me with the perfect subject...he just kept standing there!

As for the Globe, people have written to me that they hope it doesn't fall and crush the man! But not to worry, its actually filled with Air! The worst it would do is mess up his hair! Boink!

It was very dark inside, so i had to increase the ISO a bit, and lighten the photo, but i think it still turned out ok. Let me know what you think.

Have a great day
