Lévisienne, work boat laying on the shore of l'Ile aux Coudre, in 2nd plan the Massif skying center, to my eyes the best one in Québec. The day I took this picture there was a snow storm. I chose to present this workboat, as it has been in the time she was active.

Hi Peggy. It's very special how you brought this old workboat back to life. And what a nice metaphore - only crystalized water could temporarely refloat this gal. Dreamy picture, I like it!

Un bon choix de sepia pour cet image Peggy.Perhaps the sailors have jumped ship and have headed for the ski hills of Le Massif:-)

I like the old feeling you created around the boat and the snow in the air and on the ground makes her look as if caught in the ice. If you clone the grass that feeling will be stronger. The ski slopes are not of that age so there is a little proof of your forgery ;o)

Dans ma jeunesse, je l'ai vue souvent en face du château Frontenac ou accostée à Lévis à coté du bâteau de la traverse. Je ne croyais pas la revoir un jour.

Excellente composition et bonne idée de la présentée en Old days, pour les goélettes c'est terminée depuis longtemps.
