Photographer's Note

In celebration of 1000 views of my Trek Earth home page, I add a new country to my list, Canada, and a view of one of the most photographed places in Canada. I hope my perspective is unique, and is far enough away from the viewing platform to be interesting even to those who have photographed there.

The mountains of Canada, Banff, Jasper, and the Icefields Parkway that runs between them is a landscape photographer's paradise.

Hi Alan!

I like your picture very much, especially because of the peaceful effect it generates and the color management. From the technical point of view, the composition is a bit too much "half and half". I would tighten the focus a bit or change the point of view in order to get an asymmetrical distribution. But this is very personal.
