The day of the dead is a very popular occasion in Mexico. People paint their faces in white, often wear masquerade dresses, and take part in parades on the main streets. In the evening, families gather to eat and drink in cemeteries.
I captured this picture just in a hurry.

This is a superb snap! The title gives it away, but still the masked man comes as a sort of surprise. Ultrabright light and superstrong colours. Terrific piece of work! COngratulations!!

I hope TE members take the time to read the note and to click on the photo, this is a funny one for sure. Its not at all noticeable from the small gallery page, but it is when you get here.

Its pretty funny to see the man's face painted like that and he still looks so casual. and as a bonus, the driver of the large truck is looking over as well. fun shot! cheers

Hello Livia, I imagine that I was an interesting experience to be in Mexico in this specific time. I have seen many photos and read stories about the days of the dead. They celebrate in very different manner than we in Europe. Rather amusing to see this guy with the face painted.
